Paxan Corporation, the largest producer of detergents and hygienic products in Iran was established in 1963 and was privatized in 1991 by Iran's National Industries organization following the introduction of stocks of Behshahr Industries Development in line with the privatization program of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and is a member of Behshahr Industries Development Factories Group.

This large industrial unit has employed the most effective technical knowledge, and the best quality raw materials to improve and maintain the highest quality in its products.

Paxan Corp. currently rates first as a private establishment among manufacturers of detergents and hygienic products. No other similar industrial unit can be compare to Paxan in terms of variety of products and production rate, Paxan foresees to produce 176,750 tons of various products in the year 1996 (a %58 increase against 1995) , still remaining the largest producer of such products in the coming years, the corporation has managed to win Iran's National standard sign for all Paxan products, Paxan is also proud to have been awarded numerous diplomas of honor as an exemplary production and export establishment during consecutive years by Iran's Ministry of Industries.

Paxan Corp. is also a very successful example within the framework of privatization program as considered in Tehran's stock Market and has won conspicuous export market by maintaining high standards in its products, production quality according to international standards, production volume increase and implementation of development programs are among the main objectives of the Paxan corporation management which utilizes the latest technologies in a gigantic laboratory with extraordinary capabilities, modern production equipments and expert staffs.
